Newborn sessions are designed to be calm and unhurried — and you don’t need to bring much. Here’s a simple checklist to help you feel prepared.
Bring these essentials
Milk/formula and anything you normally use for feeding
A spare outfit for baby (and a spare top for you — just in case)
Nappies, wipes, and a muslin cloth
A dummy/pacifier if you use one
Any sentimental item you’d love included (optional)
What to wear (parents + siblings)
Neutral, soft tones photograph beautifully.
Avoid large logos and busy patterns.
Comfort first — you’ll be cuddling your baby a lot.
What I provide in the studio
A warm, private studio environment
A selection of wraps/props (chosen with safety and comfort in mind)
Time for feeds, cuddles, and settling
